Kandi Burruss shocked folks this week after she showed off a few of her dance moves.
The “Real Housewives of Atlanta” star uploaded a throwback clip of herself from last August, twerking up a storm during her and her cast mates’ trip to Toronto’s Caribbean Carnival.
In the video, Burruss had on a revealing Samba costume adorned with floral embellishments. The ensemble showed quite a bit of the star’s figure and curves. An energetic Burruss, who once claimed she couldn’t dance, fooled her seven million followers with her massive twerk moves.
“I guess I learned a little something at the dance class in Toronto! ” the mother of three wrote.
Several fans gawked over Burruss’ moves and flooded her with several flattering remarks.
“Yaaaaaazzzzzzz get it sis! you better werk it ! You are an entire mood”
“ Yesss Kandi. I was about to say… ‘but wait… I thought you said you can’t dance’ free yourself. I love it.”
“Fun! Fun! Fun Ladies!!!!! You all looked great!!! Proud of you all for experiencing this culture!!!!! You Rock!!!”
“You got her whole entire life yaaaaaaaassssss shake it. @kandi you looked amazing ”
Despite fans going gaga over Burruss’ dance moves and banging body, the “RHOA” star admitted she was initially afraid to put on a Carnival costume while on television.
“I don’t know if I’m ready for this costume,” the 43-year-old star said in her confessional during episode 10. “I been eating good, living my best life.”
Burruss later tweeted a sigh of relief after the episode aired and gloated about how amazing she looked in the Carnival ensemble.
“Can we just reflect on how good I looked in the outfit? I mean honestly, I was a little scared because I was like, uh, child I don’t know if I want to put that on in front of the world,” the mother of three admitted on her “Speak on It” video series. “My body, I’m a yo-yo. My weight goes up and down. Sometimes this body just don’t be together for that.”
Burruss did admit that her co-star Marlo Hampton introduced her to intermittent fasting two weeks before she had to film in the costume.
“Thank God she did, honey, because it gave me that extra little 5 pounds off that I needed,” said Burruss.
