Kim Kardashian Praises President Donald Trump And Leaves A Small Door Open For Her Own Political Ambitions

President Kim Kardashian? Why not, an ex-reality star with millions of followers on Twitter named Donald Trump made it to the White House despite going up against Hillary Clinton, a veteran campaigner and seasoned politician, who helped elect hundreds of Democrats into office.

So, if the Donald has been able to accomplish that great feat, why not Kim? Kanye West’s wife recently sat down with The Hollywood Reporter where she made some headline-making statements.

Asked about her political ambitions, she gave an ambiguous answer that many will translate into “if the opportunity presents itself, I would run.”

The reporter asked: “Do you see your political activism as a trend or a longer-term mission? It’s a longer-term mission for me?”

Saint, North and Chi’s mother said: “I never started out thinking I was being political. I just thought I was helping people and I knew that I had the opportunity or the resources, so I used them and, you know, it worked out really well for Alice. I definitely saw a lot of compassion from the White House with her, and I really do believe it’s just the beginning.”

The journalist continued: “Would you ever run for office?”

She replied: “You know, everyone’s been asking me that and I said in one interview, ‘Never say never.’ And then I was like, ‘Why did I say that?’ I don’t have political aspirations. I really don’t!”

The makeup guru went on to say: “I am a good mediator, but I don’t understand everything. I think it would be hard to jump into something like that unless you had a lot of experience. I’m definitely learning a lot.”

Kim went on to talk about the families being separated at the border and concluded by saying that she hopes the president wins.

She shared: ” It is really complex. It’s heartbreaking. When you see those images, it breaks your heart, and I hope that it all gets resolved. You don’t want to see these things. I appreciate how you’re using your platform to make a difference on larger issues. Political issues can be so divisive. I try to see all sides, especially after this experience [referring to the controversy over her visit to the White House]. There’s obviously a lot that we don’t agree with, but I want him [President Trump] to win. I want him to succeed because it’s our country. It’s so crazy that everyone doesn’t want that.”

Kim recently visited the White House and helped Alice Johnson gain clemency and is working with the family of death row inmate Kevin Cooper.
